Terms & Conditions

  1. Cachet Cars requests a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for all bookings
  2. Booking request should be made via the website or sent by direct email
  3. Quotes are based on the information supplied by the client and are valid for up to 28 days
  4. All booking confirmations are sent by email. It is the responsibility of the recipient to check that all the details are correct and any amendments reported by return
  5. Wedding bookings require a £50 non-refundable deposit, balance payable 14 days in advance of the event

  1. Your driver will aim to be on site 10 minutes before the confirmed booking time. We cannot be held responsible for traffic delays or circumstances beyond our control (all journeys are planned in conjunction with live traffic reports)
  2. We maintain a strict no-smoking policy in all vehicles
  3. Our drivers will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the client at the time of booking or on collection
  4. Any change in your arrival time should be communicated to the office on 01223 655314 as soon as you know. Failure to notify may result in extra waiting time and charges
  5. We will provide advice on journey times but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances out of our control, these include (but are not exclusive to), missed flight connections, unpredictable traffic hold ups, adverse weather conditions and strike action
  6. Changes or variations to the original booking may result in extra charges being applied to your final invoice
  7. We may at times provide subcontracted vehicles or change our vehicles for one of equal or superior specification
  8. Any items of property left in our vehicles will be returned to our main office; where able we will notify the passenger(s). Any costs incurred returning property left in our possession will be chargeable at our normal rates
  9. We reserve the right to refuse travel to anyone causing damage to our vehicles or deemed to be a nuisance or danger to our drivers, staff or other passengers. We may seek the help of the police to remove any offenders from our vehicles. No compensation or refund will be paid in such circumstances
  10. We reserve the right to refuse to carry any passenger(s) who is thought to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who’s behaviour poses a threat or risk to the driver or other passengers
  11. Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and / or exterior of a vehicle and will be billed accordingly for any such repair or valeting required to restore the vehicle to full working order
  12. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent/carer
  13. Child seats are to be provided by the client, and it will be their direct responsibility to install and secure it
  14. Our vehicles and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passengers and third party claims. However, all clients personal properties are carried entirely at their own risk and Cachet Cars shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss/damage to such property

  1. Waiting time is applied to all bookings after 15 minutes of the confirmed booking time at £10 per 15 minutes’ period thereafter
  2. Your booking may be subject to additional charges; e.g. excess waiting time, additional car park charges, out of hours’ fee.  A full list is shown on each booking confirmation
  3. Soiling charges will equal the cost of a full interior valet
  4. Where clients leave personal items in the car, all extra costs and charges will be payable by the client
  5. Bank Holidays fares are subject to an increase on fares which will be outlined when the journey is quoted

  1. Booking can be cancelled in advance by email bookings@cachetcars.com. Cancellation of less than 12 hours need to be made directly by phone 01223 655314
  2. Our charges:
    • Up to 12 hours’ notice – 50% fare charges / non-refundable
    • Less than 12 hours – full fare still charged

  1. Preferred payment is by direct bank transfer; our bank details are available on request.  We can also accept cheques in advance of travel along with most credit and debit cards
  2. Airport drop off fees will be charged at cost
  3. All prices are subject to VAT charged at the current rate of 20%
  4. We will carry out work on account for individuals or companies subject to status. As a condition of opening an account the applicant will agree to pay all invoices within 14 days of the date of the invoice. Further details on opening an account can be obtained from our main office
  5. We reserve the right to ask for full payment for any non-account bookings. This can be made by credit/debit card. Provisional bookings are not confirmed until the payment is received in full
  6. Late payments (beyond standard 30 day terms) will incur a monthly admin fee of £40

  1. Cachet Cars Ltd is fully licensed and operates under Huntingdon District Council directives
  2. All drivers are fully licensed within their own local authority
  3. Our executive fleet of vehicles have been granted discreet plate status
  4. All licenses for Cachet Cars Ltd, our drivers Private Hire Badges, and proof of insurance are available to view on request
